Tasting Notes:
Aroma: dark chocolate covered cherry, leather, and vanilla woven together in balance with an underlying oak richness.
Taste: Wonderful rich vanilla sweetness on the front of the palate opens into a bright orange/cherry spice on the back of the palate. The cinnamon-pepper spice is the signature of the triticale grain, anchoring the finish with a real sense of place.
- 58% Texas-grown Yellow Dent Corn
- 26% Texas-grown Triticale
- 16% Texas-grown Barley
- Aged at least 24 months in 53 gallon, char 3 barrels of upper midwest white oak
